Massimo Labra is Full Professor of General Botany at the University of Milano-Bicocca and founder and coordinator of the multidisciplinary research group ZooPlantLab (zooplantlab.unimib.it) which studies biodiversity at different levels, in collaboration with public institutions and other stakeholders. His research activity is documented by almost 200 articles published in international scientific journals and by participation in 39 projects in which he was general or unit scientific coordinator. He has developed numerous projects in collaboration with companies, promoting innovation and technological transfer. He founded an academic spin off, a startup, he is the author of 3 patents and has registered 4 trademarks. At the institutional level, he has held various roles such as the rectoral delegate to sustainability (2015-19) and to the green & biodiversity areas of the Campus (from 2020). He was a member of the Technical Table relating to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for the MUR is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for the Future of Cities, appointed by the Council of Ministers.
