In particular, the session "Soluzioni tecnologiche per governare i rischi e le emergenze" featured several case studies focusing on best practices related to risks associated with natural and anthropogenic phenomena. Among the topics addressed were climate change, environmental risk, seismic and volcanic risk, monitoring and management of emergencies, incidents, and road risks. Various examples were presented to illustrate how geographic technologies are indispensable for the management, monitoring, and prevention of climatic and environmental emergencies.
