As part of the interdisciplinary week promoted every year by the Sant'Angela Comprehensive Institute in Fiorano al Serio (Bergamo), Italy, some researchers from the ‘Riccardo Massa’ Department of Human Sciences for Education and the Department of Biosciences and Biotechnology met with four groups of primary school students.
Starting from experiential activities, both in the classroom and outdoors (despite the rain!), they discussed biodiversity, lifestyles and learning methods. All this was possible thanks to the interest of the teaching staff and the synergy between NBFC and Best4Food.
Best4food is a multidisciplinary centre dedicated to food research and innovation actions. It aims to identify the most suitable strategy to develop sustainable food systems able to support our future and the one of the next generations.
