On 29-30-31 January, the second ‘International Teaching and Learning Event’ planned within the Erasmus+ project ESDEUS (European Universities as Community Leaders of the Education for Sustainable Development) (https://www.dsw.edu.pl/esdeus) was held at the Department of Human Sciences for Education ‘R. Massa’ of the University of Milan-Bicocca. The project aims to interrogate existing practices of education for sustainable development and the related roles of universities in teaching and learning as well as in research and public engagement. The training days - attended by representatives of the four partner universities (University of Milano Bicocca, University of Lower Silesia, University of Algarve and University of Gothenburg) and third sector organisations - included the presentation of various activities in which the Bicocca University is currently engaged. The National Biodiversity Future Center, had two dedicated moments: a description of its basic lines (motivations, objectives, main actions) by Dr. Davide Maggioni - Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences BtBs and an in-depth examination of the existing experiments related to biodiversity education by Dr. Greta Persico and Dr. Letizia Luini - Department of Human Sciences for Education "Riccardo Massa".
